Artist Statement

My work explores how personal history, like a seed, contains the potential for future growth. As a silversmith, I create jewellery and sculptures of recognizable objects, figures, and spaces. Each piece is a small expressive form that encapsulates something larger: a relationship, an emotion or a cherished memory. 

Silver is a quiet and reflective material that originated in ancient dying stars. Through the slow, meticulous process of fabricating in silver, I transform what’s formless into small works that evoke physical and emotional spaces where mindfulness is experienced. My work carries the memory of skilled presence and listening.
