Some people have edges,
as if their world is flat
and they are so full of fear
that they demand straight lines.
With other people
you can't tell where they begin
and where they end,
as if they've been blessed
with softness of being
and depth of spirit
that spirals inward
and outward at the same time.
They are the ones who understand
that circles can save us.
I don't know about you,
but I am ready to
dance together in the round.
