Years ago, Otis lost his first mate. Remember, swans mate for life. Apparently, the keepers of the swans kept trying to pair Otis with another female swan, but he wasn't having any of it. It was decided that Otis could live in the park on his own and, if the time came that he met another swan during his winter stays in the swan sanctuary in Stratford, it was agreed that she could join him. Well, in 2019 that's exactly what happened! Otis fell in love with Ophelia. The sight of a second swan that spring in the park was exhilarating. They've tried to have a cygnet, a baby swan, but haven't been successful.
This work encapsulates the delight I feel toward these swans.

Details:
The weight is 50 grams of sterling silver.
Each swan measures approx. 4.5cm long x 2cm wide x 2.8cm tall.
The nest is 3cm in diameter.
